There are tons of web builders out there, and it takes lot of time to choose one,
I personally have used
- Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, Wordpress + Divi, Webflow
and all the startup tools that have disappeared or can’t remember right now
TLDR
Wix → if you have time to move mouse back and forth creating customized website, I don’t recommand it for startups
Squarespace → Fashion portfolio maybe?
Shopify → E-commerce in US
Wordpress → If you are going to buy Elementor or Divi ( pulgin which cost $100 ~ 200), without it it just takes too much time to do stuff, unless you are going to blogging but that needs a separate content to talk about
Why I chose notion:
I have used it before
I have tried Obsidian, but didn’t like it
Apple notes works well, but can’t really make website out of it
Notion is easy to use, but waiting to use Microsoft loop, see how thats good
I tried Makeshift, typedream, superso, all of them take to much time fiddling with it.
If you need lots of customization then go for the first two, but I doubt it that you are going to find it useful, its 2023, you need speed!!!
I found Bullet.so and it works, and its easy, tempted to buy lifetime, but not sure if this team is going to deliver fast enough. Will see. If they ship fast, I’m going to buy it.
